For the Ones We Love

We know it’s not easy watching us walk out the doors during a worldwide pandemic, so we thank for the sacrifice that you’re willing to make.

We know you hide your fear of us becoming infected, and instead choose to continue to cheer us on as we fight to save lives.

We know it confuses you when we break down over something seemingly small because we’ve held in so many emotions for way too long.

We know you can’t wait to see us and hug us after a long day away from home, and it’s hurtful when we walk in the door and shout, “DON’T TOUCH ME!”

We know you see the fear in our eyes while we try to process the effect this has on our jobs, our financial security, the economy, and so so so many lives.

We know you don’t understand why we hug you tighter and hold you closer as a way to comfort ourselves from the sad, hard days.

Your sacrifice is equally as important as ours. Thank you for loving us and supporting us always!
